Crazy couple of days, here’s hoping they pay off.

Shoes and sweater repeat, guilty as charged. I can’t help myself…I’m in love!
In case anyone is interested in the food stuff specifically, I’ve started another Tumblr for that. All of my recipes and restaurant reviews will be moving over that-a-way as well. So for those that are wondering, it’s:

I look very pink in these photos, I think I need to find a new light source for the bedroom. Anyhow, I went on a shopping excursion on Sunday to the wonderland that is Orfus Road. It’s a strip of outlet stores just north of us. Outlet shopping is overwhelming, and I try not to go down the road to fast fashion very often. But really…

…I never stood a chance.

The sweater is new as well. I love the neckline; apparently I’m really digging on grey this season. Sweater weather officially arrived in Toronto today, and I am fully stocked and raring to charge into autumn!
Had a delightful day with delightful company, and picked up a few fall staples at Public Butter. What is this delightful article of clothing? You’ll just have to wait til it gets cooler to find out…I know I can’t wait to wear it!

Dinner date on the pier; it rained earlier in the evening, so I threw on my trench. I’m suddenly wild about coats again, when two days ago I was lamenting the death of summer.

As we were eating our dinner, a party boat rolled by blasting reggaeton. Impromtu dance party ftw!

Revolver Necklace: 529 Camelot Antiques, Toronto / Sweater: Hubs Closet, Club Monaco / Tank: American Apparel / Lace Skirt: French Connection / Shoes: CTS Vintage, Toronto
I purchased this skirt on a shopping trip with a friend earlier in the week; high waisted, lace, winter white, on sale…perfect. Love the juxtaposition of the lace with the more nubbly, tweedy sweater.

The shoes have been my go-to for fall since I picked them up last year…for $10. They’re dead-stock, probably vintage 70’s, and I adore them.

Zyz decided to photo bomb this evenings pics, and I didn’t have the heart to kick him out of his fashion blog debut. I think he unifies the ensemble quite nicely.

FAN EXPO. I have been anticipating the Expo for months. I am as excited as humanly possible, given my post-show, post-vaca, post-guests hangover. This weekend is going to be a whirlwind of awesome cosplay outfits and fantastically long days, and I am looking forward to being very, very hoarse by the end. But WHO can complain with The Doctor on your arm?

GROOOAAANNNNNNN…
Anyhow, I’m looking forward to the challenge of styling the same shirt for four days straight. Clearly I’ve already modified it; as I previously mentioned, I hate any sort of constriction around my throat. I’m digging the grey-on-grey action; added in my wicked black talon heel pumps and the belt for a pop of colour. Tomorrow I’m on booth duty all morning and then off to our meet-and-greet panel…and then I have all afternoon to explore the comix section. Danger Will Robinson.

Still lagging from post-show exhaustion. Crazy tornado rain in Toronto today, hence the trench… I felt very “Casablanca”-esque today.

Also, I need to troll you-tube for hair tutorials; I’ve been relying very heavily on my scarf collection to get me thru the last few weeks.
